Na het succes van het eerste album, gevolgd door het album Roots & Romance, de verschillende topsongs bij Radio 2, hun uitvoering van Perfect Day, in de Paramount Film The In Between en het succes bij Linda’s Wintermaand, is het tijd voor Roots & Romance 2.
De theatersetting is daarvoor het meest geschikt. De roots waar de inspiratie vandaan komt, gemengd met de eigen songs van de band, dat is waar Mell, Nico Brandsen en Ton Dijkman het best tot hun recht komen.

Imagine: two of the Netherlands’ most acclaimed top musicians fall for one of the greatest voices of the moment.
Singer Mell, drummer Ton Dijkman and Hammond organist Nico Brandsen form the group Mell & Vintage Future. In their first theater program they will search for the unique feeling of the gems of Soul and Rhythm & Blues. The feeling that is also fully present in their own successful debut album with radio hits such as Call My Name, Forever, Willin and Brand New Day.
A mix of the hits, a mix of then and now, young and old, vintage and future. The trio takes you to the core and guarantees an evening of Roots & Romance.
