Benieuwd naar jong talent in de klassieke muziek? Kom naar onze ScheidenvandeMarkt concerten! Een uurtje klassiek op zaterdagmiddag door studenten van de Nederlandse conservatoria of de Nederlandse Strijkkwartet Academie. De bar is open en je mag je eigen hapjes meenemen, vers van de markt. Presentator Eva Traa interviewt de musici en neemt het publiek mee in de verhalen achter de muziek.
Highlights uit Bachs Hohe Messe
De Hohe Messe van Bach geldt als één van de meesterwerken uit de Barokmuziek. Prachtig, maar de componist was in ere van God vrij lang van stof. Vandaag speelt het Sweelinck Barokorkest en koor, bestaande uit studenten van het Conservatorium van Amsterdam, in een uurtje de allermooiste delen uit dit majestueuze werk.

An hour of classical music on Saturday afternoon by students from Dutch conservatories or the Netherlands String Quartet Academy. The bar is open, and you can bring your own snacks, fresh from the market. Host Eva Traa interviews the musicians and shares the stories behind the music with the audience.
Highlights from Bach’s Mass in B minor
Bach’s Mass in B minor is considered one of the masterpieces of Baroque music. Beautiful, but the composer, in God’s honor, was rather long-winded. Today, the Sweelinck Baroque Orchestra and Choir, composed of students from the Conservatory of Amsterdam, will perform the most beautiful movements from this majestic work in an hour.
