In 2027 is het vijftig jaar geleden dat in Dublin een band ontstond die uitgroeide tot een van de grootste en meest invloedrijke rockgroepen ter wereld: U2. Dankzij wereldhits, legendarische optredens en een herkenbare sound schreven Bono en zijn bandleden muziekgeschiedenis.
Met U2 THE MUSIC beleef je een theaterconcert waarin deze muzikale erfenis centraal staat. Tijdens de avond hoor je hoogtepunten uit het rijke repertoire van de band. Zo komen vroege klassiekers als I Will Follow en Sunday Bloody Sunday voorbij, maar hoor je ook tijdloze favorieten als Where the Streets Have No Name en natuurlijk One.
Vier gepassioneerde U2-fans brengen de show tot leven, met zanger Federico Pirona in de hoofdrol. Na een uitgebreide zoektocht door Europa vonden de makers in hem de ideale frontman. Met zijn energie en karakteristieke stemgeluid weet hij Bono overtuigend te benaderen.

A Tribute to 50 Years of U2
In 2027, it will be 50 years since a band formed in Dublin that went on to become one of the biggest and most influential rock groups in the world: U2. Thanks to global hits, legendary performances, and a distinctive sound, Bono and his bandmates made music history.
With U2 THE MUSIC, you’ll experience a theatrical concert centered on this musical legacy. During the evening, you’ll hear highlights from the band’s rich repertoire. Early classics like “I Will Follow” and “Sunday Bloody Sunday” will be featured, as well as timeless favorites such as “Where the Streets Have No Name” and, of course, “One”.
Four passionate U2 fans bring the show to life, with singer Federico Pirona in the lead role. After an extensive search across Europe, the creators found in him the ideal frontman. With his energy and distinctive voice, he convincingly channels Bono.
In addition, impressive visuals and a spectacular light show create the atmosphere of a legendary U2 concert. U2 THE MUSIC takes you on a musical journey from Dublin to the rest of the world. At the same time, the performance is an ode to friendship, love, and the unifying power of music.
