Zes dansers nemen ons mee op een hectische, humoristische en visueel overdonderende reis. In twintig tableaus worden de iconen van ballet, hedendaagse dans, ballroom, sport, ritmische, academische en acrobatische dans uitgelicht. Het is onbetwist een ode aan de dans, waarbij spot hand in hand gaat met kwaliteit van ongekende hoogte. Het is een kans om laagdrempelig grote dansthema’s te ontdekken of ze te herontdekken in een nieuw licht.
Elke scène brengt een kleurrijke verrassing die ons meeneemt in het grillige theatrale universum van het gezelschap. De zes mannelijke performers nemen, bijna als kameleons, alle rollen (meer dan veertig) op zich, waarbij ze het publiek aan het lachen maken, verbazen en imponeren. Waar het gezelschap bekend staat om zijn zelfspot, staat het minstens zo bekend om zijn danstechniek.

TUTU is an evening full of dance and pure fun. Six dancers take you on a wild, funny, and visually exciting journey through twenty different dance scenes. They celebrate the great styles of dance—ballet, modern, ballroom, rhythmic, classical, and acrobatic—but always with a big wink. Because at Chicos Mambo, humour and amazing dance go hand in hand.
