Na 4 succesvolle jaren met hun voorstelling Sounds of Silence komen Jop Wijlacker en Dennis Kolen met het vervolg Simon & Garfunkel Acoustic – Old Friends. Een nostalgische muzikale reis met weergaloze tweestemmigheid, een spraakmakend verhaal, intrigerende beelden en uiteraard de prachtige muziek van Simon & Garfunkel.
Popmuziek is de nieuwe klassieke muziek. Voor diverse generaties zijn de songs van Simon & Garfunkel de soundtrack van hun leven. Maar hoe was het vroeger, toen die inmiddels zo legendarische nummers uitkwamen?
Jop Wijlacker en Dennis Kolen, al meer dan 20 jaar goede vrienden, nemen je mee op een nostalgische muzikale reis. Ze stellen zichzelf de vraag hoe de moderne tijd verschilt van de swinging ’60’s en ’70’s, de tijd waarin de popcultuur ontstond.
