Jennifer Romen
Jennifer Romen (Maastricht, 1996) is a young, ambitious choreographer who, together with her company Oxygen, impresses with visually striking works full of meticulously detailed choreography and captivating illusions. As an urban dance maker, she follows an unorthodox path to the theater. She made her mark in dance competitions, television shows, the commercial circuit, and as a teacher. During her first full-length production Delusion, she not only commanded the stage but also the auditorium, getting audiences out of their seats. The overwhelmingly positive reactions made it clear that Delusion left them wanting more.
Oxygen
In 2015, Jennifer founded the dance crew Oxygen. The group went on to win the Dutch, European, and World Championships in Small Group HipHop. In 2018, they won the TV show Dance As One and received a Golden Buzzer during their audition for France’s Got Talent. In 2020, they reached the finals of NBC’s World of Dance in the United States. With Delusion, they toured in 2023, performing to packed and enthusiastic theater audiences.
