De Junior Company van Het Nationale Ballet laat zien waar de toekomst van het ballet ligt. Niet alleen dankzij de jonge dansers – de sterren van morgen – maar ook door ruimte te geven aan nieuw choreografisch talent.
Het tourneeprogramma Ballet Vibes brengt topwerken van Hans van Manen, Eric Gauthier en de Britse meesterchoreograaf Sir Kenneth MacMillen.
Daarnaast bevat Ballet Vibes vier wereldpremières. Drie daarvan zijn van de veelbelovende jonge choreografen Zoë Greten, Luca Abdel-Nour en Rutkay Özpinar. Ook Ernst Meisner – die met ingang van dit seizoen de leiding van de groep overdraagt aan Christopher Powney – presenteert nieuw werk.

The Junior Company of Het Nationale Ballet shows where the future of ballet lies. Not only through its young dancers – the stars of tomorrow – but also by giving space to new choreographic talent.
The touring programme Ballet Vibes features acclaimed works by Hans van Manen, Eric Gauthier and British master choreographer Kenneth MacMillan.
In addition, Ballet Vibes includes four world premieres. Three of these are created by promising young choreographers Zoë Greten, Luca Abdel-Nour and Rutkay Özpinar. Ernst Meisner – who is handing over leadership of the group to Christopher Powney from this season onwards – will also present new work.
