Metamorphosis, A Virtual Opera is een unieke bewerking van Kafka’s klassieke novelle over actuele thema’s zoals de zoektocht naar je identiteit, sociale isolatie en de strijd om geaccepteerd te worden. De vier saxofonisten van Maat Saxophone Quartet staan als dramatische personages op het toneel, waarbij de muziek een dialoog vormt met hun alterego’s in een animatiefilm.

Metamorphosis, A Virtual Opera is a unique adaptation of Kafka’s classic novella about current themes such as the search for your identity, social isolation and the struggle for acceptance. The four saxophonists of Maat Saxophone Quartet stand on stage as dramatic characters, with the music forming a dialogue with their alter egos in an animated film.
