A Peek Behind the Scenes with Amsterdam Sinfonietta
String ensemble Amsterdam Sinfonietta, one of our resident ensembles, is holding a public rehearsal in the Stadsgehoorzaal. During this rehearsal, visitors will get a glimpse behind the scenes of one of the Netherlands’ finest classical ensembles. For this occasion, Amsterdam Sinfonietta will be rehearsing in the center of the hall, allowing you to see the musicians every move. A unique opportunity for all classical music lovers! You can choose from two different time slots:
Group 1
10:00–10:45 AM: Walk-in
10:45–11:45 AM: Rehearsal of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons with Australian violinist Ray Chen
11:45 AM–12:00 PM: Coffee and tea with the musicians
Group 2
1:15–1:45 PM: Walk-in
1:45–3:00 PM: Rehearsal of Bartók’s Divertimento for String Orchestra
3:00–3:15 PM: Coffee and tea with the musicians
